Submission Guidelines

Submission Categories

Contributions are invited under the following award categories:

  1. Best Student Oral Presentation Award
  2. Best Student Poster Presentation Award

Eligibility for Student Category

  • Must be a student delegate (not employed)
  • Post-Docs, Research Associates, and Faculty Improvement Programme participants are excluded
  • Submit a nomination form signed by the Head of Institution/HOD

Abstract Guidelines

Abstract for Publication (half-page)

  • Required Elements:
    • Title (UPPER CASE, bold, centered)
    • Authors & Affiliations (centered, names bold)
    • Content: Brief Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion, Keywords
  • Format: Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, 12pt, single spacing

Poster Guidelines

Poster areas will be equipped with poster boards and materials to hang your poster.

Poster Format

  • Dimensions: 118 cm (height) x 84 cm (width) = A0 in PORTRAIT
  • Title of abstract (Times New Roman, Centered Paragraph)
  • Author format: First Author1, Second-Author1, Third-Author2, & So-on
  • Institution Name, Country, e-mail address of the lead presenter
  • Paragraphs should be justified on both left and right

Design Requirements

  • Font Sizes:
    • Title: 80pt (20 mm height)
    • Authors/Affiliations: 60pt (15 mm)
    • Body Text: 40pt (10 mm)
  • Use visuals (graphs, photos) generously; avoid text overload
  • Material: Glossy paper/photo paper/cloth (Flex banners prohibited)

Digital Submission (Optional)

  • Upload PDF (labeled: SessionCode-SURNAME_Name.pdf, e.g., C3-SMITH_Jane.pdf)
  • Include a 2-minute video summary (landscape MP4, labeled: SessionCode-SURNAME_Name-VIDEO.mp4)

Key Tips

  • Ensure readability from 2 meters
  • Use clear headings, arrows, and white space for navigation
  • Highlight contact details (email, QR code) for follow-ups
